We are living in a time of scarcity, and Mallville is no exception.
Last Friday we saw how Dewey scolded a client for making too many copies in the library. The paper supply ran out and Dewey stuck the sign “Bring your own paper” over the printer. Today we see that they also have run out of toner:

User: -Now the printer is out of toner.
Dewey: -This time we’re ready.
The user is pleased by Dewey’s words and apparent diligence.
Dewey: -I know it’s here somewhere.
Dewey: -Would you mind taping that up for me?
The user pouts, seeing that instead of toner, Dewey gives him a sign that says “Bring your toner”.

Corren tiempos de escasez y Mallville no es una excepción.
El viernes pasado vimos como Dewey reñía a una usuaria por hacer muchas fotocopias en la biblioteca. El papel se terminó y Dewey puso el cartel “Tráigase su papel” sobre la impresora. Hoy vemos que también se ha terminado el tóner:
Usuario: -Ahora la impresora se ha quedado sin tóner.
Dewey: -Esta vez estamos preparados.
El usuario está contento con las palabras y la diligencia de Dewey.
Dewey: -Sé que está por aquí.
Dewey: -¿Le importaría pegar [con cinta adhesiva] esto por mí?
El usuario pone mala cara viendo que, en vez de tóner, Dewey le da un cartel en el que pone “Tráigase su tóner”.
