Rat: — Ooh!… An email. Could be important.
Rat: — Hey, it’s got a ‘YouTube’ link. Gotta watch it.
Rat: — Ha. Ha. That’s great. Hey, they’ve got more like that.
Rat: — I’ve never even heard of this show. I’ll Wikipedia it.
Rat: — Wait, that’s not the right show. But who’s that girl? She’s hot.
Rat: — I’ll ‘Google Image’ her.
Rat: — Oooo! Look at these photos. I’ll post ‘em on ‘Facebook.’
Rat: — Hey, I got a friend request.
Rat: — Wait. I don’t even know this guy.
Rat: — I should Google him.
Rat: — Whoa. He’s a freak.
Rat: — I’ll write about him on my blog.
Rat: — Wonder who’s talking about my blog. I should Google myself.
Rat: — No No No No… It’s resume time… Do the résumé.

Rata: – Voy a buscarla en ‘Imágenes de Google’.
Rata: – Oooo! Vaya fotos. Voy a publicarlas en ‘Facebook’.
Rata: – Vaya, alguien quiere ser mi amigo.
Rata: – Espera. Ni siquiera conozco a ese tipo.
Rata: – Tendría que buscarlo en Google.
Rata: – Bah. Es monstruoso.
Rata: – Voy a escribir sobre él en mi blog.
Rata: – Me pregunto quién estará hablando de mi blog. Me tendría que buscar a mí mismo en Google.
Rata: – No No No No… Ahora toca curriculum vitae… Hacer el currículum.

VOCABULARIO
crazed [créisd] = enloquecida
procrastination = dilación, entretenerse en cosas sin hacer la obligación
résume, résumé [résume, résyume] = currículum vitae

curriculum [karíkiulam] vitae (o CV [sivi]) se usa en inglés para credenciales académicas. Si no, se usa résumé (para solicitar un trabajo) o biosketch (más breve).
to look for work = buscar trabajo
gotta (US colloquial) = have got to = tener que (hacer algo)
she’s hot = (ella) está muy buena, es un bombón
‘em (US colloquial) = them = (a) ellos, les, los, las
guy [gay] = tipo
no confundir con gay [guey] = homosexual
guys (US colloquial) [gays] = gente
you guys! (US colloquial) [yu gays] = vosotros/vosotras, usado como plural de ‘you’ para ambos sexos indiferentemente
En los 50s se usaba la expresión guys and gals = chicos y chicas, y también guys and dolls = chicos y muñecas, pero ahora se usa sólo la primera palabra. Una mujer de cualquier edad podría decir: us guys = nosotros, chicos y chicas.
No hace falta explicar qué son Google, Google Image, YouTube, Wikipedia, Facebook, etc.
